Dreams Resorts in Mexico

Planning a destination wedding usually involves inviting family and friends. Yes, they pay their own way, but guess what - they love it. No one has ever said to me - sorry I went. They all love it! Here is one thank you note:

Hola Susan!

I have been meaning to send you this note to thank you for all your arrangements while I was trying to book my time for Braden and Heather's Wedding! You made the booking a breeze for me and also for Wendy who stayed with me for two of the days.
The Dreams Resort was incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I am not big on the 'constant hustling' in Mexico and far prefer The Hawaiian Islands, but it was an experience I will never forget and The kid's Wedding was amazing!
Thank You once again for all your hard work in making sure the bookings went smoothly! I hope, one day, I can book through you again!

Most Sincerely.
Gordy

They don't mind that is will cost them maybe $1500.00 for a week - hey, they get to watch you get married on the beach, with bare feet, drink all kinds of exotic cocktails, eat wonderful food all day and night, and not have to cook any of it - and its's all included! This is from one of my clients who is attending her friends wedding this April 2011: Thank you Susan! The e-tickets are correct and we have printed it off to put in our carry on! THE DR
Sun, sand, sunset catamaran rides and merengue - the Dominican Republic (DR) beats to the rhythm of a beach lover's heart. In this Caribbean island with a European flavour, visitors typically follow their heart to Punta Cana, famous for powdery white beaches, warm waters and luxury all-inclusive resorts.
From spa treatments to water sports and lounging, DR's beaches are among the most affordable and desirable ways to spend a week, or more, living the beach bumming life. If you want to avoid the crowds, Puerto Plata up the northern coast is home to more luxury five-star resorts with pristine beaches such as Playa Grande and more diversions, including the 27 waterfalls of Damajagua, mountain biking and more in Cabarete and other small towns popular with independent travellers.
Those who want more of a chill pill than an adrenaline rush will feel at home at Cofresí or Costambar, Lonely Planet recommends, just a few kilometres from Puerto Plata, where they can stay in condos, have the beach almost to themselves and even swim with dolphins on Cofresí beach.
Dancing under the stars to the lively beats of merengue is one more reason to fall in love with DR.

JAMAICA MON!
At Jamaica's beaches, life is irie (patois for "great") and sweet with a spicy kick.
Montego Bay, or "MoBay," considers itself the "second city," like a second child, to the capital of Kingston, but one that stands out with its own lively personality that makes it the tourism capital of the country. Dubbed the "Gulf of Good Weather" by Columbus in 1494,
MoBay attracts spring breakers who want to party and vacationers who want to get away to its golf and seaside retreats.
Negril on the west is home to the Seven Mile Beach with soft white sands, and calm, clear waters. Discovered by hippies and flower children in the '70s, Negril is the kind of place where you can be carefree, playing in the water as pop music and reggae blast from the shores.
You can also take a catamaran ride to snorkel and jump off the cliffs from Rick's Cafe, famous for its sunset views. If you are not quite as adventurous, horseback riding along the sea and sunset swims are just a few more memories to take home.
And don't forget to try this Caribbean country's legendary jerk chicken, Blue Mountain coffee and coconut rum cream

If there is a little peice of heaven here on earth, I'm there. I am in Cancun, Mexico, at the Royal Cancun. I am sitting in my room, looking out my sliding glass door to the turquoise ocean. It is breathtaking. This resort is a true 5 star - I feel I am being treated like royalty.
The bedrooms are huge, and honestly, I have never slept better. Each room is ocean facing, has a jacuzzi, balcony with hammock, and flat screen TV with bosa sound system.
The food has been perfect, as are all the chocolate martinis! The beach is the real draw.
I love swimming, and this is the best ever - lots of waves to body surf, deep quickly and no rocks. And if you feel you have had enough sun, shopping is close by. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants an outstanding beach, to feel truly pampered, and simply relax. If you would like more information, please let me know, and I'd be happy to share more images.

The Royal in Cancun & Playa del Carmen
As an agent, one of the perks is that I am invited to wonderful exotic trips. Some I can attend, and others, sadly, no because of time constraints. But I am off to the Riviera Maya. I am looking forward to some R & R, and visiting some resorts. I will be at the unbelievable El Dorado Resort, where, yes, they have my favorite chocolate Martinis! Don't knock em till you have 1 or 2 or 3 or...
Then I will be at the beautiful Royal resorts - can hardly wait!
I think part of the reason for my success at a wedding planner is that I get well acquainted with the resorts. So if you ask me, where is the best chapel, or beach location for a reception, chances are I know it well. So stay tuned, as I will post some great images for you!
